Lakeside Neurocare Limited is proud to have been providing patients in the Oshkosh, Fond du Lac and surrounding communities in Wisconsin with highly specialized neurologic care for the past 32 years.
Lakeside Neurocare was founded in 1976 by Kenneth M. Viste, Jr., M.D. Dr. Viste was renowned as a leader in the neurologic field and worked tirelessly as a patient advocate. Dr. Viste passed away suddenly in August of 2005 and his loss will be forever felt by his colleagues and patients.
Xian-feng Gu, M.D., joined Dr. Viste in 1995 with a collaborative vision to provide patients with comprehensive neurology services as well as education and encouragement, and being an active partner in the management of their neurologic needs. Dr. Gu practices general neurology and has special training in neurodiagnostics.
Victor Diaz-Cotrina, M.D., joined Lakeside Neurocare in 2009. Dr. Diaz lives in the Fond du Lac area. Dr. Diaz received his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo in Peru. Dr. Diaz performed his Internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida and his Residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics in Madison in the neurology department. Dr. Diaz went on to perform a Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin - Froedtert Hospital. He finished his Fellowship in Vascular Neurology in June of 2008. Lakeside Neurocare is extremely fortunate to offer our patients Dr. Diaz' expertise and knowledge in neurology and vascular neurology.
Michael A. Leone, M.D. also joined Lakeside Neurocare late in 2009. Dr. Leone moved to the Oshkosh area with his family from Oregon. Dr. Leone received his medical degree from the University of Indiana, performed his Internship at St. Vincent Hospitals in Indianapolis and his Residency at Darmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover New Hampshire. Dr. Leone obtained his Fellowship in Neuromuscular diseases from the Oregon Health and Science Universigty in June of 2009. Dr. Leone's knowledge and expertise in neuromuscular diseases is of tremendous value to Lakeside Neurocare and our patients.
Robert Glisczinski, M.S.N., N.P.-C is a nurse practioner that has been with our practice for 22 years. Bob has an extensive neurologic background in both neurology and neurosurgery with an emphasis on patients with multiple sclerosis and seizures. Bob provides our patients with the power to handle their illnesses and manage their chronic conditions. Working closely with the physicians of Lakeside Neurocare, Bob formulates patient treatment plans, gives patient education and continues to remain a constant source of consistency for our patients. Patients have come to rely on Bob's expertise just as they would any of the physicians in our practice.
Donna Balke, R.NCS.T - is our EMG technician. When Donna joined Lakeside Neurocare she had over 10 years in performing EMG testing. Donna has had specialized training in performing EMG testing and was recently certified. Donna is among the first in her field to become certified and Lakeside Neurocare feels fortunate to afford our patients Donna's specialized talents.

A referral to our practice is viewed as a sign of respect and is treated and reacted to as such. Our providers respond timely to the referring physician and work closely with them to be an integral part of the patient's healthcare team.
